For me, the Westtown Class of 1965 45th Reunion was a heart warming contradictiton to the last nine months I've spent mostly alone. (That said I am grateful to all those people who have been hanging in there with me all this time.) The welcoming, the delight, the laughter, the sweetness, the remembering old times, connections and some I had forgotten all fed me.

Each of you treated me as if I had been smart to bring my mobility scooter. You were right and your rellaxed acceptance and assisistance (Thank you Sue B. and Bill T.) made it possible
for me to be involved in the whole day and evening.

Some of my highlights: HUGS! Standing up to be recognized as a class ... walking all over the main building ... looking at old pictures of us and friends who didn't come back this time ... reaquainting and having sweet fun  with Sally S (my senior roommate) after all these years, going down to the lake , where Judy T took the pictures of Sue, Bill and me "playing dead in the sunshine" ... being completely silly can be so healing! .... touring the Greenwood, with all it's memories ... and of course dinner at Deborah and Graham's ... I missed the
singing this year ... I missed a lot of you who couldn't make it, and want to encourage ALL of us to be there in 2015.

One final thought, it will help us to be ready for our 50th if we keep in touch and reach out to our other classmates. I plan on facilitating that by getting the email list for our class from Westtown and emailing it to each of you.

Love,
