Hello Everyone,

Not too much has happened here in the last 5 years. I'm still working for Beckman Coulter (20 plus years now) as a remote technical support specialist. Not a bad job if you have to work.

Last year however I had 2 major events:

Number 1. Should I send my 14 year old daughter to Westtown? We visited Westtown many times during the fall and spring. I was very impressed with Westtown. It felt so much more up-to-date than I remembered. (Not that I remember all that much or all that well.) The faculty cared so much about all the students. In the end Cheyney decided to go to the local day school - Germantown Academy. She is well into her freshman year, working hard and making lots of new friends. She played water polo in the fall. That is a fun sport to watch.

Number 2. I became the proud owner of a dog - a King Charles Spaniel. Other than feeling as though I needed to take maternity leave, having my very first dog has been a delight. "Bear" (he came with that name) has been a wonderful addition to my life.

I keep up with Jane French Rieck, Betsy Brett and Ann MacInnes Mize. I enjoyed the years I worked on the Annual Giving for our class. It was especially fun when several of us worked as a team. Wish I could see everybody more often.

I plan on attending the 40th reunion.

Penny
